DESTINATION DAKAR is an annual off-road Rally-Raid and Adventure from Paris to Dakar. Follow the routes of the original pioneers on this challenging and well-organised trans-African event.
The 2026 edition of the Rally will take place from 18th - 31st January
with an optional soft start in Paris.

RALLY
The Rally Category is for those wanting the added challenge of completing the event against the clock. Participants will be provided with a time card and will be navigating the stages using GPS Check point to validate accuracy. Designed to push both skills and navigation to their limit, all the way to the beach in Dakar.
ADVENTURE
Limited to bikes <800cc and suitably prepared four wheelers. This Category lets you sample some of the incredible stages of previous Raids. With a more relaxed schedule and numerous route options, it's the authentic Adventure Raid to Dakar.
TOUR
Bring your big bike or your suitable four wheeler for the 'Adventure Tour Category'. Travel with the Raid, bivouac to bivouac, along the epic team & service route through the Sahara and enjoy the atmosphere and safety & security of the Raid organisation.
